Designed by Anishinaabe-Metis artist, Fallon Simard, the Plum White Water Lily Scarf draws inspiration from traditional ecological knowledge found within Anishinaabe Aki (landscape). The scarfs are designed to situate the wearer in Anishinaabe landscape, connecting them to traditional medicine, land, and knowledge. The scarf anchors the wearer in a space of medicine and healing by wrapping and protecting their body with white water lilies’ found in Anishinaabe landscape.
The Plum Ochre Scarf is made from a stunning Pima Lawn fabric, which is 100% natural cotton, and finished with a stunningly neat pin hem. The Scarf is 57 cm x 57 c, (22.4” square), with a black baby hem. Machine washable at 86° F, tumble dry and iron safe at low heat only, iron on reverse side do not wring.
